TEXTURE'INEL

I wish I had a decent camera as this was a pretty cute outfit and these photo's really don't reflect that at all :( BOO.

Hat- Primark £4
Faux fur collar- Topshop (£20 sale last year)
Jumper- Primark £12?
Skirt- River Island £15(sale)
Creepers- Ebay

I also need to share this with you. I popped into my local charity shop just quickly and found a right gem.

GREEN VINTAGE VALENTINO BLAZER/COAT/JACKET £8.95
AMAZING
(Image quality is crap so will show you shortly)

And also I started Slimming World last week as I’m fed up of being a heffalump. Which means I had to say no to this lot of yummies at Whole Foods underneath my office.

But saying no helped me loose FIVE lbs this week! SO HAPPY!

Day & Night

I've done this at work whilst waiting for an email so haven't had long to do it...apologies in advance.

I've put together two outfits, based around this cute black leather look skirt from new look. As most of the outfits I buy to wear on a night out I tend to try and dress down for work or a different occasion. I tend to stick to quite plain pieces so these can be easily mix and matched although I do have some loud printed pieces that I will wear time and time again because I love them, these I tend to differ with accessories etc. to vary the outfit as a whole.

Skirt- New look
Body- AA
Denim two-tone shirt- River Island
Vivienne Westwood bag- Vivienne Westwood
Freda shoes- Jeffrey Campbell (via Office)
Creepers- Ebay
Belt- River Island
Peace hoop earrings- River Island
Leopard cross earrings- River Island

Favourite pieces
Okay so I have wanted a cute leather look skater skirt for months now! They had a similar style in H&M but never in my size, I came across this one from New Look whilst reading the high-street edit in this months Elle magazine and now I need it!
I have been lusting over this Vivienne Westwood bag for years now but at around £745 still to this day I cannot afford it :( MASSIVE BOO! I have a Marc B one at the moment which I absolutely love still after two years but i'm getting a little bored of it now and just want something new and exciting.
I thought the FABULOUS belt was a really cute modern twist on the Moschino piece...by Moschino.
I love how all these pieces are so versatile which is what I like to try and aim for. I wear a lot of black but recently been told I pull of the grunge look quite well...so thats one good thing I guess!

What do you think of these outfits?
Would you wear them in the same way or mix and match?

Polka Clash

Okay I kind of gave up on the whole blogging thing as I started to wonder if anyone actually cared what I wore but after a few months i've finally been persuaded by the lovely Jess (see her blog here) to carry on with my blog as if she definitely DOES care then so must others.

I'm currrenly working full time as an intern at WGSN therefore any spare time i've had has been spent being a lazy arse. Therefore another excuse to carry on with my blog :)

I thought as I quite liked my outfit for work yesterday that i'd start with this.

Quite a simple outfit but I loved the clashing prints and touch of neon :)
Blouse- Primark (customised)
Leggings- Primark
Necklace- Primark
Jacket- Vintage via Ebay
Shoes- Creepers via Ebay
Bag- Market

I guess I buy a lot in Primark but knowing a lot about the manufacturing of garments I know that Primark and other high street brands products come from the same factories. Therefore why pay more for the same quality. Primark is amazing for me, not spending too much on clothes is great for anyone who is constantly revamping their wardrobe. Like me :)
