SHOE LUST

Apologies for being so crap at this blogging malarky but I’ve been pretty busy and un-motivated as of the last few weeks and I’m going to try really hard whenever I have a spare half hour to post rather than sitting on my arse and watching crap TV.

Anyways I thought I’d share with you my Jeffrey Campbell and Unif at Solestruck wish list. I love how rapidly Jeffrey Campbell’s collection is growing; the collection is becoming more and more accessible which for us fashionistas is a little annoying seeing every Tom, Dick and Harry wearing but on the other hand he’s an amazing designer and this should be celebrated! Who could not want/need/lust after anything Unif. AMAZING.

So from left to right we have;

Coltrane boot- I’ve wanted these for ages, unfortunately being an unpaid intern isn’t helping this situation, neither is them being sold out EVERYWHERE. I won’t be happy until these are a part of my wardrobe.

Lana- I’ve found myself recently being into baby pink, although sometimes it can look extremely chavtastic, I think these would be the perfect as they’re a little different with the curved heel and cut out.

Damsel- These are a great combination of colour, height, wedge and fierceness all thrown into one.

Lita- Although the Lita’s are EVERYWHERE now and most people can’t tell the fake from the real there’s no compromise when you come to the comfort. I’ve heard they are extremely comfortable and as they aren’t as massively huge as my Freda’s are they’re much more versatile as they aren’t so shocking.

99 Tie 2- As these gorgeous wedges don’t come above the ankle they’ll help to elongate my short stumpy legs, I love this deep red (purple) colour as they could be paired with a lot in my wardrobe.

Foxy- I love this pink as you can keep an outfit plain and simple with a pop of colour.

Unif Hellbounds- There are no words.

Unif Hellraisers- These would be perfect for work and every day wear, especially in our swanky new office. Spikes, loafer and leopard. PERFECT combination.

So that’s it, my not going to be able to afford ANY time in the near future shoe lust list. BOO

Day & Night

I've done this at work whilst waiting for an email so haven't had long to do it...apologies in advance.

I've put together two outfits, based around this cute black leather look skirt from new look. As most of the outfits I buy to wear on a night out I tend to try and dress down for work or a different occasion. I tend to stick to quite plain pieces so these can be easily mix and matched although I do have some loud printed pieces that I will wear time and time again because I love them, these I tend to differ with accessories etc. to vary the outfit as a whole.

Skirt- New look
Body- AA
Denim two-tone shirt- River Island
Vivienne Westwood bag- Vivienne Westwood
Freda shoes- Jeffrey Campbell (via Office)
Creepers- Ebay
Belt- River Island
Peace hoop earrings- River Island
Leopard cross earrings- River Island

Favourite pieces
Okay so I have wanted a cute leather look skater skirt for months now! They had a similar style in H&M but never in my size, I came across this one from New Look whilst reading the high-street edit in this months Elle magazine and now I need it!
I have been lusting over this Vivienne Westwood bag for years now but at around £745 still to this day I cannot afford it :( MASSIVE BOO! I have a Marc B one at the moment which I absolutely love still after two years but i'm getting a little bored of it now and just want something new and exciting.
I thought the FABULOUS belt was a really cute modern twist on the Moschino piece...by Moschino.
I love how all these pieces are so versatile which is what I like to try and aim for. I wear a lot of black but recently been told I pull of the grunge look quite well...so thats one good thing I guess!

What do you think of these outfits?
Would you wear them in the same way or mix and match?

Limecrime

I first heard about Limecrime over twitter @limecrime, Had a quick peek and loved their collection instantly.

Like most things i'm very picky about my make up, I personally think that you should never have too much going on on your face, if you are going to make your eyebrows the main focus of your face then stay away from the bright lipstick and electric blue eyeshadow as these three together can only mean one look...DRAG QUEEN.  Don't get me wrong i'm not an eyebrow hater but if you're going to draw your eyebrows on then take a bit of time to experiment/research what suits your face shape etc.

As i'm a lipstick lover I tend to keep the rest of my face pretty simple, I use a little bit of bronzer, with black eyeliner and mascara.

Anyways after that little rant thats the main reason I love Limecrime's collection as their lipstick and nail varnish shades are to die for and although I love to experiment with lip colour I dont have the balls to wear some of my favourite colours of the collection.

Colours i'll definitely be purchasing in the near future!
Shades i'll maybe try...one day

I never leave the house without having my nails painted.
 I HATE BARE NAILS.
These colours are so damn cute! Even together on alternate nails :)

Although I love my black eye make up, I have recently been thinking about trying an electric blue liner, if I go ahead i'll definitely be buying this one from limecrime!

FREDA

Thought i'd share my favourite new buy!
I've wanted a pair of Lita's forever now but quite glad I never got round to buying any as they're copied EVERYWHERE. I must admit I did buy a pair but have worn them once as they shame me.

These are my first Jeffrey Campbell purchase and HOW amazing are they right?!?! I'm in love!!

Jeffrey Campbell Freda- Office £135 (with student discount)

Girls we Hated in High School

Working at WGSN I come across some amazing talent. Yesterday I came across Jeffrey Campbell's 'Girls we hated in high school' handbag range.

Speechless. Not only is he the GOD of all shoes he appears to also be the GOD of handbags.

AMAZING

Here's some of his SS11 range.

As seen at Karmaloop

And his SS12 Collection

What do you think about Jeffrey's handbag collection?
Do you own anything Jeffrey Campbell?

Polka Clash

Okay I kind of gave up on the whole blogging thing as I started to wonder if anyone actually cared what I wore but after a few months i've finally been persuaded by the lovely Jess (see her blog here) to carry on with my blog as if she definitely DOES care then so must others.

I'm currrenly working full time as an intern at WGSN therefore any spare time i've had has been spent being a lazy arse. Therefore another excuse to carry on with my blog :)

I thought as I quite liked my outfit for work yesterday that i'd start with this.

Quite a simple outfit but I loved the clashing prints and touch of neon :)
Blouse- Primark (customised)
Leggings- Primark
Necklace- Primark
Jacket- Vintage via Ebay
Shoes- Creepers via Ebay
Bag- Market

I guess I buy a lot in Primark but knowing a lot about the manufacturing of garments I know that Primark and other high street brands products come from the same factories. Therefore why pay more for the same quality. Primark is amazing for me, not spending too much on clothes is great for anyone who is constantly revamping their wardrobe. Like me :)

My best friend Hannah from uni gave me the cutest birthday present with the cutest little message <3
We both ended up at the same uni from the same college but didn't know eachother! Now we're besties <3

She got me a few bits of jewellery from TOPSHOP which I have been lusting over for a while (unknown to her).

Ethnic Jewellery

My jewellery collection is continuosly growing and changing. Since I visited Tunisia for the second time with my family we were spoken to by a store owner and 'palm reader' in the nearest town. After studying our hands and speaking to us all indivually he was able to tell the connections between me, my mum, stepdad, brother, step sister and boyfriend telling us what he believed were the stories of our future. Athough he was quite clearly also trying to sell jewellery to us as I walked out he discreatly put The Fatima Hand into mine for free (always good)He told me that the Fatima Hand also known as Hamsa would protect me and give me good fortune aswell as ward off the evil eye.

Since that day I have found myself in love with any pieces of jewellery that resemble the Hamsa as well as other tribal/ethnic looking items.

Here are some of my few favourties.
